How This Works

Campaign C is our third Van Buren ad creative set. It features four new concepts built around Mark's specific community roles — each produced in two tones so you can pick the voice that feels right per concept.

For each card:

⚠ These creatives are pending your approval. Nothing goes live until you give the OK.
Formal tone — authoritative, credentials-forward, committee-room voice. Best for undecided voters weighing experience.
Warm tone — community-rooted, personal, neighbor-to-neighbor voice. Best for base activation and social sharing.
REVISED — April 11, 2026 Evening (Wave 1)

Thank you for the detailed feedback. Here's what changed in Wave 1:

REVISED — April 11, 2026 (Wave 2)

C4 has been fully reworked based on your feedback that the "Still in the Arena / I've Done the Job" framing read as tired rather than capable. Both cards now lead with accessible constituent service:

Concept 1 — Ohio Township Association Director

Leads with Mark's statewide role — OTA Director — as a signal of peer-recognized leadership among township officials across Ohio. Strongest credibility hook for voters who know what OTA is.

Concept 4 — 25 Years / Accessible Leadership

Closing argument creative — pivoted from tenure-as-fighting-spirit to accessible constituent service. Anchors Mark's 25 years of township leadership as proof of approachability and responsiveness, not just longevity. Quote directly from The Reporting Project, Apr 7 2026.

⚠ PULLED Apr 14 — “I don’t serve parties” quote is triggering voter questions about Mark’s prior Democrat history. Ad paused, will not re-run without new creative direction.
